The Bexhill Harmony Ladies Choir Data Protection and Privacy Policy is devised to help you feel more confident about the privacy and security of your personal details and shows how the committee intends to process, retain and remove your personal data, and the lawful basis for doing so.  

Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to maintaining high standards of data protection. This notice applies to all personal data collected by Bexhill Harmony including personal data collected or submitted on our website.

The Data we collect

We only collect personal data for specific purposes (for example for circulation of information about the Choir’s activities) and only such data as is necessary for the purpose for which it is collected.

We use personal data only for the purpose for which it was collected and, except with the express consent of the person to whom it relates, will not use it for any other purpose or share it with a third party.

We keep data only for so long as is necessary for that purpose, unless there is a legal or regulatory requirement for us to retain the data for a longer period or we need to do so for audit or accounting purposes.

At Bexhill Harmony we do not use a 3rd party data storage system or share any for marketing purposes.

Deletion of Data held by us.

We review the personal data we hold at regular intervals and delete any personal data which is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected or where the Choir’s relationship with the individual to whom it relates has ceased.

Existing members can ask for their personal data to be removed/destroyed at any time.
